Go NOLES!

Joey taught Sam to say, "Go Gators." Silly Joey...you should have know better to mess with me in my own house...My Littles are gonna stand up for my Noles. I love how Emmy and Sarah are looking at him like he's crazy.

A Little Kitty Krib

Man put Sarah in Grammy's new Kitty Condo. Sarah just thought it was hilarious!

Marble Mania!

The kids were given this marble puzzle game by a friend from my office building. Result? Hours of free entertainment. Yay!!

O Christmas Tree!

We put the tree up last weekend, and got to share in our tradition with a couple of unexpected guests! Snuggles didn't quite know what to think about all the festivities.

What?

Thought this shot of Rachel was interesting. Especially since I didn't plan on it.

Emmy and the Terrible Two's

Emmy turned two on December 4th. I find it hard to believe that Little Emmy is already two. I say that Emmy is in the terrible two's, but actually, she's been as stubborn as her Daddy since birth. It's really all in how we handle the behaviors.

Emmy has recently decided that she actually likes me now. This makes my heart just melt! This Little of mine....oh, how she just makes me smile! She loves her brothers and sisters, and she looks forward to her Daddy getting home from work nearly every morning when she wakes up.

She likes to sing and jump, and she truly enjoys her "Tia." (Grammy). She can totally SAY "Grammy," but chooses to call her "Tia."

Emmy talks; A LOT. She loves; A LOT. She is wonderful, and I'm so thankful that God chose for ME to be her Mommy.

My Little Boy is Five!

Sam turned 5. My guy is growing up entirely too fast! What an amazing boy he is turning out to be. He loves his sisters (mostly), and is so sensitive to the needs of others. His heart hurts when he hurts others, he knows how to pray, and is still boy enough to cuddle up to his Mommy and give me some love.

I love my little blond baby boy.

Sarah - 7 Months

Well, Sarah is 7 months old. She's a slobber factory, eating baby foods with no problems, and is sitting up nearly all the time. She's such a joyful Little. She smiles at everyone...even strangers. If I could be guaranteed to have another child like this Little, I'd have 15 more! Well, not really. If she'd start sleeping all night long, I'd be forever grateful!

Little Hams

ZZZzzzzzzzzzz......

I don't look thrilled to be spending some quality time with Emmy, but deep down, my heart just wants to eat her up! Actually, my back is KILLING me in this picture, and Man decided that he should take a picture for me. Thanks, Dear.

Her stubbornness kept her from going to bed, but not from actually falling asleep!

Playtime

Now that Sarah successfully sits up most of the time, playtime for the little Littles is way more exciting!

Little Pooh

Well, Big Pooh made his debut to the blog earlier this month. Then, we found "Little Pooh" at Grammy's house the other day. Now, Emmy is happy.

Sam's Belly Button Sings

Last Little Sitting

It's been a productive Veteran's Day. Rachel taught Sarah how to sit up all by herself today. Of course, there were a few bonks, but she seemed to catch on really quick! I got it on video, for the most part, and you can see her progression over time...and, of course, see a normal Corley Clan day home from school. Officially, it's the last Little to learn how to sit up alone, and it's kinda sad. One day, I'll be writing a blog that's called, "Last Little Graduates College" or something.

Also, on the video, you can hear Sam mention - ever so innocently - that I have white hair. Thanks buddy!

If These Belly Buttons Could Talk

I've always done this with the Littles, but this was the first time (I think) that I remembered to get it on film!

Jump Drive Dump #9

For several months, Sam was convinced that he was an alligator.

Jump Drive Dump #8

Yup -- This is My Boy ... rrggghh....Man

We live vicariously through Cody. He's the cool one. I have told him, since I can remember the little booger of a kid trying to climb up me to give me a hug, that I was going to be depending on him to keep me cool, but who was I kidding...I'm pretty awesome!

Cody has been dating this girl, Emily, for quite some time now. I haven't met her, but she seems real nice. I'm hoping to get to meet her at Thanksgiving or Christmas.

Cody will be 18 soon. My heart breaks to think that my kiddo, my Sir Cody Lot, my Star-Feet Stinky Toe Hair, my first Little - will be a grown man in no time. He has, of course, had his moments, but as far as teenagers go, he's amazing, and I couldn't have asked for a better kid to be unexpectedly brought into my life and more importantly, into my heart.

I love you, kiddo!

Halloween, 2010

Quite the eventful evening for the Corley Clan. We went to the "Trunk or Treat" at Canopy Roads (our AWANA church) where the Littles got to run around to 20+ trunks that each had handfuls of candy. Rachel and Sam pretty much ran around to all of the trunks within minutes, and had come back to us where we were still letting Emmy "fish" with Mrs. Mary and Mr. Steve (Cubbie leaders). Rachel and Sam got to go on the hay ride at the church, where we got a pretty interesting picture of "Spider Man" with a mysterious green balloon. Of course, Pirate Eileen (love her) was there manning the voting booth for the "Best Trunk" award!

After Trunk or Treat, we went over to Nella's house for dinner and trick or treating - hay ride style - in her neighborhood. I'm fairly certain that we have hit the JACKPOT of neighborhoods as far as the loot is concerned! Holy cow!

I'm pretty sure that the picture of me and the Littles pretty much sums up our lives.

Me = Trying to keep order, but so happy to be doing it.
Rachel = Who really knows these days.
Sam = Trying to save the world; one villain at a time.
Emmy = "Who me"?
Sarah = "Why me"?

It was a good Halloween. Hallelujah Harvest wasn't put on at the church this year, but I think that the Littles had even more fun than they ever have before.
