Rachel got her long-awaited braces last week. She had no idea what she was getting into, but is really starting to like having them. She can't wait to show all of her friends her new grill.

Day 12 - P90X
Well, I've officially lost 3.2 pounds since I started doing P90X, and I can see my collarbone again as well. Many people think that I'm crazy for doing P90X, but they have been so encouraging!
I'm really loving doing it.....especially when the day is over. Yoga is, by far, the hardest part of P90X. You wouldn't think so, being that it's just a whole bunch of stretches, but NO. Yoga is a talent that I'm getting down....slowly but surely!

Twirling Emmy
Emmy is a pretty popular little girl at church. It's mainly because of her curls, but now that she's older, it's her little personality too! She never meets a stranger, and loves to hug.
This is what a "twilrling Emmy" looks like.

P90X - Day 4
I don't mean to update everyday with a P90X update, but I must say, P90X Yoga X is absolute
But, I did it.
Day 4 - Conquered!
Christmas, 2011
Christmas, 2011 was pretty great! The weather was warm, and the meaning of Christmas was our top priority. The kids learned more about Jesus than presents this year.
It was great!
Some old videos I found
I can't believe how much The Little have grown up! Take a peek at the old days.

P90X - Day 3
God woke me up this morning for my daily dose of
I made it 25 minutes before I had to stop, but not because I couldn't do it.....I had to go to work.
So far, P90X isn't too bad. Yes, it's extreme, and seems like it takes FOREVER to get through an hour, but it's growing on me. Day 3 (Shoulders & Arms, and Ab Ripper X) will be completed this afternoon when I have a little more time to do it. If you're wondering, I can feel that I've been working out, but nothing that a little Ibuprofen can't contain.

Smith Mountain Lake
I have gone to SML several times this year. Once was to visit Nonee when we thought that she was going to see Jesus because she had Gangrene in her bowels. She had only a few days - weeks to live, but the Great Physician cured her. And the second time, I picked up some furniture for my Mom. Each time, I got some well spent time with Aunt Corny.
They've rented the lake house, so we won't be visiting there this summer, but, if we can get the van fixed, we'll be headed that way to visit them at their new house in August for a few days.
Here's the last time I saw the lake. It's still just as beautiful as it always has been.
Broken Down
Well, our new-to-us minivan has taken a dive into the realms of junkyard if we don't get the entire engine replaced. If you didn't know, entire engines cost right around $3,000! Whoa! Wait a minute.....we don't have that kind of money just sitting idly by waiting for us to need it.
Prayer request:
that we somehow find someone or some bank that will loan us the money to get the van fixed. The thing is paid off, so I'd hate to have to get a different vehicle and have payments all over again. It's nice to have a paid off vehicle!
P90X - Day 1
Well, yesterday was Day 1 of my new adventure into P90X. I've heard that it's actually
but, I'm willing to go there. Wait, I'm already insane....this should be right up my alley!
I'm ready for some results in life. Changes are being made, in more than one area of the Corley Clan's existence, and this is one of them.
I plan to give updates as I go through this new journey, so let's see what's in store for my abs!
Wish me luck!

I'm Back!
It's been entirely too long since I posted on here, and for that, I am truly sorry.
Lots of things have happened since I posted last!
Let's see.........
Cody is 18.
Rachel is 12.
Sam is 6.
Emmy is 3.
Sarah is 2.
That should sum it up just nice, shouldn't it?
Well, there's even more than that, but I'll refrain from boring you to tears. I've learned many things in the last year and a half.
Let's see.........
I am human.
I'm an artist.
I love the Apple iPad.
My family is my everything, after God.
Moments pass quickly, and, unless I blog about them, I know that I won't remember them.
God is the only person that I can trust.
Therapy is totally worth it.
I don't like to watch TV.
I like to exercise.
My hair is straight now.
And, I am human.
Shall I go on? Have you had enough?
I don't have a dependable camera these days, so pictures are minimal, but I will do my best to keep up with the kids' journeys for you as well as my own. Rusty and I are always on a journey of some sort, and right now, we could use all the prayers we can get. Please keep my family in your prayers as I share with you throughout the next few months...no, years....Well, I'd love it if you'd pray for us forever, but that's asking a little much.
Thanks for reading, and I do hope that you enjoy my ramblings. Please leave comments, and share with your friends.

Marble Mania!
The kids were given this marble puzzle game by a friend from my office building. Result? Hours of free entertainment. Yay!!
O Christmas Tree!
We put the tree up last weekend, and got to share in our tradition with a couple of unexpected guests! Snuggles didn't quite know what to think about all the festivities.
Emmy and the Terrible Two's
Emmy turned two on December 4th. I find it hard to believe that Little Emmy is already two. I say that Emmy is in the terrible two's, but actually, she's been as stubborn as her Daddy since birth. It's really all in how we handle the behaviors.
Emmy has recently decided that she actually likes me now. This makes my heart just melt! This Little of mine....oh, how she just makes me smile! She loves her brothers and sisters, and she looks forward to her Daddy getting home from work nearly every morning when she wakes up.
She likes to sing and jump, and she truly enjoys her "Tia." (Grammy). She can totally SAY "Grammy," but chooses to call her "Tia."
Emmy talks; A LOT. She loves; A LOT. She is wonderful, and I'm so thankful that God chose for ME to be her Mommy.
My Little Boy is Five!
Sam turned 5. My guy is growing up entirely too fast! What an amazing boy he is turning out to be. He loves his sisters (mostly), and is so sensitive to the needs of others. His heart hurts when he hurts others, he knows how to pray, and is still boy enough to cuddle up to his Mommy and give me some love.
I love my little blond baby boy.
Sarah - 7 Months
Well, Sarah is 7 months old. She's a slobber factory, eating baby foods with no problems, and is sitting up nearly all the time. She's such a joyful Little. She smiles at everyone...even strangers. If I could be guaranteed to have another child like this Little, I'd have 15 more! Well, not really. If she'd start sleeping all night long, I'd be forever grateful!
ZZZzzzzzzzzzz......
I don't look thrilled to be spending some quality time with Emmy, but deep down, my heart just wants to eat her up! Actually, my back is KILLING me in this picture, and Man decided that he should take a picture for me. Thanks, Dear.
Her stubbornness kept her from going to bed, but not from actually falling asleep!
Playtime
Now that Sarah successfully sits up most of the time, playtime for the little Littles is way more exciting!
