Every year, our church puts on an AWESOME Christmas Play. This year, it was called, "The King is Coming". The main character was Greta Van Popcorn (a pretty good play on names, if you ask me). It was about a town that was expecting a King, but they weren't quite sure who this King was. There was speculation that He would be King Tut, The King of the Jungle, or The King of Rock n' Roll. Rachel had a special part in the King Tut portion of the play, and one of the adults who was playing the mayor of the town, magically transformed into Elvis! I don't know how he kept a straight face.
Rachel told me that she was playing an Egyptian this year, but I had NO IDEA that she would be so sparkly! She pulled off an Egyptian like it was no body's business. All of her hand motions were spot on, and she sang so proudly as she stood up there.
She did a phenomenal job!
This is the entire choir that were also the "Local Town Folk of "Rumors Mill".

Rachel made an absolutely GORGEOUS Egyptian! I think she needs to dress like that every day...
Just so everyone knows, the toy was to keep Sam occupied, but Joey hogged it. I got to write exactly one time on there.
