The weekend that Emmy was born, Amy and Rayne (Joey's sister and nephew) came up for a visit. Tallahassee's Christmas Parade was that weekend, and Rachel had been dying to go to the parade. She missed it last year due to strep throat, so I was so happy for her that she was able to go this year. It was such a blessing that Joey and Beth were able to take her this year while we were in the hospital with Emmy. They had such a wonderful time!
After the parade, they all went back to Joey's apartment where they stayed up WAY past bedtime. I guess once in awhile won't hurt too bad.

Poor Beth. She was so tired. She had been up all night with me in the delivery room the night before. She was a trooper to be drug around the parade by the kids! I can only imagine!
