Bells On Poptarts Ring

So, you all can relate with me on this one, I'm sure. Every single one of us has a song that we just LOVE and can nearly sing every word right along with the radio, but then there are some songs that we "like" but just don't really "know"! So, what do we do?

We fake it, of course!
Last night, Rusty was teaching Sam the ever popular Christmas song, "Jingle Bells". Rachel was, as usual, trying to help him get the pronunciation correct, but just listening from the other room cracked me up! She's such a great influence on Sam. It's SO cool to see them working and growing together. It's amazing how they teach each other different things on a daily basis.

"Shingle Beals, Shingle Beals", Sam would sing. Rachel would come back and try to correct him, but his speech is as developed as a two-year-old speech gets. He was workin' it the best he could. Rusty would go through the entire chorus, and then Rachel and Sam would come behind him and sing it again. This went on for nearly 30 minutes.

As you all know, once a song has been sung, it typically gets stuck in your head. Naturally, last night, all of us were walking around the house singing "Jingle Bells" at random moments. It was pretty crazy to hear us, but it really didn't phase us in the least.

Rachel has an ear for music. She teaches Sam how to "play" the piano when they visit Grammy's house, and they run around the house singing songs about Waffles too! Rusty teaches them some "interesting" songs, I must say.

After a few minutes, I heard Rachel in the bathroom singing her "version" of Jingle Bells.
Dashing through the snow. In a one horse oben slay. Order the fields we go. Laughing all the way, ha ha ha! Bells on poptarts ring....

And it was at that moment when I lost it!!! Bells on poptarts ring! HA!!! Oh, my, how I love that little girl!
