Last night, for my birthday, Rusty and I went with Joey and Beth to see The Trans Siberian Orchestra. The pictures do NOTHING to help explain just how amazing this show was, but maybe they can give you all an idea. The light show and pyrotechnics were unbelievable! Of course, I forgot my camera again but, there seem to be some pretty good ones on the internet.
The first half of the show was centered around a somewhat secular Christmas theme, if that's not an oxymoron, but the music, nonetheless, was incredible.
Rusty and I sat on the floor level. We were able to see and feel the show like I would have never imagined. Towards the end, the musicians came out into the crowd. Rusty got a "high-five" from the Rock Violinist, Anna Phoebe. She was insane!
There was also a girl (her picture is below) that came out into the crowd that belted some serious tunes from her lungs. I couldn't believe how much control she had with her voice. For that matter, ALL of the musicians and vocalists were incredible.
The second half of the show was simply, amazing. The drummer did a bit that had my esophagus vibrating, and I'm sure that Emily was looking around wondering what on earth was going on!
What a great Birthday!
