Being Random

So, normally, I like to have some sort of "order" to this blog, but this is just so strange. I figured that I needed to post it before I forgot about it. I forget things ALL the time, so if I don't write them down, they go into oblivion! I don't, however, forget my OCD tendencies, so I will always remember this random blog as what it is...merely random.

It seems that my life is more random than I would like. Typically, I like to have everything in a specific place, and if it's not there, I secretly freak out. It's no secret...it's just me!

We just finished dinner. It wasn't anything spectacular, by any stretch, but my guy has some serious skills. We usually have pizza on Friday nights, but with spending so much on gas recently, we are having to cut back...I think that the rest of the US is having the same issues...except for all of those ka-zillionaires out there in Hollywood that want us to become a "socialist" nation...but, that's another soap box left for another day.

So, before I got off on a tangent, I was mentioning that we just finished dinner. We had some "Rusty" rice (some sort of secret concoction that he created) and the kids had some Ravioli. My appetite is so off kilter these days that I can't eat very much in the evenings.

One of Rachel's chores is to take the garbage out. She ran downstairs and down to the trash can, and then she ran back upstairs (SO MUCH FREAKIN' ENERGY, GOOD GRIEF). When she came back upstairs, she ran directly to Sam's room / the computer room where I was going over the previous blog, and trying to fix it. She said, "Mommy! Listen to this!" She started shaking like she had an imaginary hoola hoop around her waist. Next thing I hear is her tummy literally "SLOSHING" around. Can you say, "EWWWWWW". I made her go show Rusty. I don't ever think that I have seen him that grossed out before.

Rachel is now running through the house with her sloshing tummy and pretending to have a hoola hoop on. Anyone looking in from the outside would really wonder about our family sometimes!
