It's "Potty" Time

So, my little guy has officially been wearing his "Dinosaw Unnerware" for about 3 weeks now! One of our biggest worries was that we would have two kids in diapers at the same time. We started this whole "potty training" escapade MONTHS ago. It's SO hard to be consistent when the daycare that claims to be working with you...is not! We've moved daycare, and they are wonderful.

Sam has been wearing his "Race Car Puud-ups" for quite some time, but we feel that he was used to the idea of just "going" in them. Daycare suggested that we put him in underwear, and she'd work with him there, and so we did!

Three weeks ago, he was running around naked. My thought process was that he wouldn't go potty without a diaper...it worked! He never once messed up when he was naked, but still....he was naked. Poor kid. Sorry, buddy!

So, when we finally got him some "Dinosaw Unnerware", he was elated! He walked around in his bog boy underwear like he was something else! It was SO cute.

Sam is so OCD, it's not even funny! His "Potty Process" may very well be the funniest thing I've ever heard of.

  • Wait for praise (from everyone within ear shot).

This process happens EACH time that Sam goes potty. We are SO happy for him. He's growing up SO fast! I can't believe it. We are so thrilled to be able to experience the toddler stage. Even more exciting is that we have so much more to come!!
